Position(Dept Specific)Highlights:
ICU is a 36 bed combined medical, surgical, and coronary ICU with nurse to patient ratio of 1:2. Supportive, caring and encouraging leadership and staff, with extensive classroom and preceptor orientation provided. Staff nursing opportunities to participate in Shared Governance, hospital and unit based committees and a local AACN chapter.
Position
Responsibilities:
Opportunity to provide expert nursing care to a stimulating variety of critically ill patients with diagnoses of sepsis, hemodynamic instability, acuter respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation, COPD exacerbation, liver failure, GI bleed, renal failure and multisystem organ failure.
Position
Qualifications:
Current State of IN Registered Nurse licensure
BSN orMSNpreferred
At least one year recent critical care experience preferred
Certified in the Health Care Provider BLS is required; Unit Expectation to be ACLS certified within 6 months.
Must work toward and attain CCRN certification.
