A well established, growing tier 1 automotive supplier is actively seeking a Manufacturing Launch Engineer. This company has grown significantly over the past 5 years and has strong forecasts through the next several years. This person will assist launching new automotive products and development from prototype through manufacturing production stages as required by Program Manager.
Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer
Facilitate product maturation (performance, dimensional, and appearance) phase of new launch
Supports Program Management generated project macro-schedules with detailed engineering micro-schedules to ensure that all project milestones are tracked and completed on time
Work with Launch Team to provide production level parts for each Customer Pre Production build
Review advanced quality planning documents, FMEA's, PDS, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Charts, Gage R&R studies, and capability studies to help identify and resolve issues during the development and launch of a new product
Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline

years manufacturing experience.
Experience launching new automotive products.
