Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor needed with a growing tier 1 automotive supplier. This peson will coordinate the activities of the departmental processes and personnel within the assigned manufacturing function. In addition, the Production Supervisor has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of his/her assigned group. This is a critical fill at this plant and they are looking to move very quickly on potential candidates.
Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor
Supervises the process and all employees in the department
Schedules the workload for all employees in the department
Ensures manufacturing processes in the department meet all production and quality requirements.
Performs recordkeeping for various aspects of the manufacturing process, as required
Ensures the area within the department is clean, and all equipment is in good repair
Requirements for the Production Supervisor
5 years of manufacturing experience with 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Experience with JIT production system, TPM, and Kaizen implementation preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
