Production Maintenance Technician Department:
Production Operations/Distribution Services POSITION SUMMARY The responsibility of this position is to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, operate, and stabilize the production equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of production.
Operate and maintain stable running condition while being held accountable for reports output numbers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate production equipment that utilizes hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, injection molding, Monitor and record shift output and production numbers along with entering shift date into database Use tools to maintain equipment, make needed machine repairs, modify existing wiring or circuits, and install new machinery as required.
Observe, record, and analyze data and documents according to Sony DADC procedure.
Safeguard all operating equipment that could result in injuries, production downtime, quality of products, and costs.
Understand and apply Sony DADC's requirements for quality, environmental management, health and safety management, KPI's, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION A minimum of an associate degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent practical work experience within the discipline preferred.
Work experience in, and understand the principles associated with, electronics technology, injection molding, hydraulics theory and quality control.
Interpersonal skills are necessary to foster cooperation and to effectively communicate with others.
The ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Possess the ability to use sound judgment in the analysis of facts and circumstances surrounding problems and determine what action must be taken.
