Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description Northern Country Coop Custom Applicator Description The Custom Applicator is responsible for safely and accurately delivering, distributing, and applying agronomy products to fields and crops, including fertilizers and pesticides, in compliance with EPA, OSHA, State and Federal Regulations, and facility safety protocols.
All applications are made under work orders.
The employee is responsible for the accurate mixture, application, and completion of all required documentation while providing customer service safely and effectively.
The position is needed to assist in cleaning and servicing machinery and equipment used for application to ensure top operating efficiency.
This employee will assist other departments as needed.
Requirements Provide application to areas by applying knowledge of weather conditions Operate and act professionally as a representative of Northern Country Coop Installs, adjusts, and performs minor repairs of application equipment, scheduling maintenance with appropriate personnel when required or necessary Maintain accurate records in compliance with EPA, OSHA, and State and Federal regulations Observe safety guidelines under company policy, federal & state safety rules, and regulations Perform daily safety checks on all vehicles and equipment and adequately document/report any safety hazards immediately Be able to utilize electronic dispatching units and become a knowledgeable user of applicator monitors Ensure proper application, transport, and storage of all chemicals according to directions and applies them at the recommended rate Communicate any changes, questions, or errors to the agronomist of the location manager immediately Utilize good customer service skills at all times when servicing and greeting customers and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company Keeps vehicle always clean under company image Assist with other locations and departments, as needed Must be a team player Work overtime as required Work in a safe & efficient manner according to NCC safety policies Provide exceptional customer service Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications High School diploma Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (Encouraged, but not required); Current pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain Experience in ensuring facility safety Leadership:
